How to Use

Fruit Trees

For young trees, mix 1–2 handfuls into the planting hole together with compost or topsoil.

For established trees, apply 1–2 cups around the drip line, lightly work into the topsoil and water well after application.

Vegetable Gardens

Apply 1–2 cups per square metre and mix into the top 10–15 cm of soil before planting.

For seedlings or transplants, add a small handful to each planting hole mixed with compost or soil, then water well.

Compost Heaps

Sprinkle a light layer between green and brown compost layers, or mix 1–2 cups into each wheelbarrow load of compost material.

This helps support carbon balance, moisture management and the quality of the finished compost.

General Use Notes

• Pre-moisten or mix with compost before use.
