BAMTERRA™ BIO — Bio-Enhanced Bamboo Biochar

BAMTERRA™ BIO is a premium bamboo-based carbon soil conditioner made from BAMTERRA™ CORE Bamboo Biochar, pre-conditioned with BAMLIQua™ Agricultural Bamboo Wood Vinegar.

Designed for use in soil, compost and growing media, BAMTERRA™ BIO helps create a more stable, carbon-rich soil environment that supports soil structure, moisture holding and microbial habitat. It is suitable for fruit trees, vegetable gardens, compost heaps, nursery production, landscaping and general soil improvement.

Unlike ordinary raw biochar, BAMTERRA™ BIO has been pre-conditioned with Bamboo Wood Vinegar, helping the biochar become more biologically active and ready to interact with soil life.

Biochar can help soil hold moisture more effectively, reducing how quickly water drains away or evaporates. This is especially useful during hot, dry periods or where soils dry out quickly.

Microbial habitat

Biochar contains many tiny pores that can provide habitat spaces for beneficial soil microbes. When blended with compost, manure, worm tea or organic matter, it can help support biological activity in the soil.

Soil temperature buffering support

BAMTERRA™ BIO may help moderate sudden soil-temperature swings by improving soil structure, moisture retention and heat movement in the root zone. Studies on biochar-amended soils show that biochar can reduce daily soil-temperature fluctuations, and in some conditions amended soils have shown reduced peak soil temperatures of around 1.0–2.5°C compared with untreated soils. Results depend on soil type, moisture level, application rate, climate and how the biochar is applied.

When added to compost heaps, BAMTERRA™ BIO can help support carbon balance, moisture management and the quality of the finished compost.

BAMTERRA™ BIO is pre-conditioned with BAMLIQua™ Agricultural Bamboo Wood Vinegar, giving it an added biological and plant-supporting dimension.

Bamboo Wood Vinegar is traditionally used in agriculture as a natural plant and soil support input. In soil and compost systems, it may help:

How to Use

Fruit Trees

For young trees, mix 1–2 handfuls into the planting hole together with compost or topsoil.

For established trees, apply 1–2 cups around the drip line, lightly work into the topsoil and water well after application.

Vegetable Gardens

Apply 1–2 cups per square metre and mix into the top 10–15 cm of soil before planting.

For seedlings or transplants, add a small handful to each planting hole mixed with compost or soil, then water well.

Compost Heaps

Sprinkle a light layer between green and brown compost layers, or mix 1–2 cups into each wheelbarrow load of compost material.

This helps support carbon balance, moisture management and the quality of the finished compost.

General Use Notes

• Pre-moisten or mix with compost before use.
• Do not over-apply dry product directly against tender seedlings.
• Water after application.
• Store sealed in a cool, dry place.
• Avoid inhaling dust when handling.
